Guest Storyteller - Rebecca Leatherman

Rebecca Leatherman will join me as our Guest Storyteller. Rebecca was married to an abusive, alcoholic. She knows the fear of honesty—the fear of people finding out, the fear of losing friends & family. She remembers the moment she admitted out loud: “I’m a domestic abuse survivor.” It started her on the path of getting honest with herself and seeing the places that needed to be healed: “I allow myself to feel the hurt & sadness, but I don’t allow myself to go into shame.” Today she helps others who are going through what she’s been through.
